Privacy policy

This explains what JNK Managing Group, Inc. collects through this website, why, and what I do not do with it. It is written to be read rather than skipped.
What I collect
Only what you type into the offer form, which is:
- The property address
- Your name, phone number and email address
- What is going on with the property, if you choose to tell me
- How soon you need to be out, if you choose to tell me
- Whether you ticked the box asking me to text you
- Which page of this site you submitted from
I do not ask for your date of birth, your social security number, your bank details, your mortgage account number or any payment information through this website. Nobody from JNK will ever ask you for those by email or text. If you are ever asked, it is not me.
About the situation you describe
The form asks what is going on with the property, and the options include foreclosure, divorce and a death in the family. That is sensitive, and I ask because the answer changes which selling path actually makes sense for you, not because it is a marketing segment. It is stored with your enquiry, it is seen by me, and it is not used to target you with anything. You can leave that field blank and still get an offer.
Why I collect it
To look at the property, work out what it is worth on each path, and contact you about the offer you asked for. That is the whole purpose.
Texting you
Submitting the form is your consent for me to contact you about the offer you requested. The tick box is separate and narrower: it is permission to send you text messages about it. It is optional, it is unticked by default, and leaving it unticked does not change the offer you get or how quickly you get it.
If you do opt in, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not opt you out of me calling you back about your property.
What I never do with it
I do not sell your information, and I do not pass your address or your phone number to a list of other investors or buyers. This matters in this industry. Submitting your details to some companies that buy houses results in calls from several buyers you never contacted, because the enquiry itself is the product being sold. That is not how I work. You contacted me, so you hear from me.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry is stored in a customer system operated for me by WebDevAuto, which built and hosts this site. Their staff can access it for support. The form is protected against automated abuse by Google reCAPTCHA, and the site is hosted on Google infrastructure, so Google processes technical data such as your IP address for that purpose. Nobody else.
How long I keep it
For as long as it takes to help you, and then as long as I reasonably need to for my own records. If you sell to me, the transaction records are kept for the periods that real estate and tax rules require. If you ask me to delete an enquiry that did not lead to a transaction, I will.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Google reCAPTCHA sets what it needs to tell a person from a bot.
Your choices
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email jeff@jnkmanaging.com or call 801-647-8799. There is no charge and you do not need a reason.
